This 1016 has one of the nicest gilt dials of any gilt dial on any reference I’ve seen. The dial has a hyper gloss finish with no crazing, chips or scratches. In the tropical gilt realm, it’s common that dials look black inside and have a nice warm tropical when the sun hits it. This dial has a caramel tropical color indoors and turns completely golden when the sun is on it. It was purchased directly from the original owner from the Netherlands who inherited it from his father. The case has some wear, but it remains unpolished along with the bezel. It comes with the original 7206 bracelet dated 1965. The serial range is 1,1xx,xxx.
