The 5065 is the first Patek Philippe Aquanaut and the first sport model Patek that was sold on a rubber strap. It is also known by collectors as the Jumbo and only 1,000 total 5065’s were produced between both metals. The 5065 paved the way for the modern day Aquanauts like the 5167a Aquanaut that can also come on a strap or bracelet.  The present example was sold on a bracelet as the extract reflects and it was changed to the deployment buckle with a rubber strap.
