This 1965 gilt Submariner is the type of piece all collectors seek, it has a perfect condition glossy gilt dial that looks the same way it did the day it left the factory. Most dials over the years become distressed and the gloss fades away where this dial has an almost water sheen. The case is worn from wear, but has the original chamfers and is quite possibly unpolished. The bezel insert is a stunning mint condition “long 5 and kissing 4 ” insert. It comes with it’s original 7206/80 bracelet with datestamp 4/65 on the clasp. In short this is a piece that is not easy to come by and the condition is second to none.
