A white writing 1680 Submariner was the very first vintage Rolex I acquired and it is a great first vintage piece. It has a good entry level price point and encompasses all of the features of vintage watch that collectors want. This example comes as it was found with a jubilee bracelet and has 55 end links on one end and 555 on the other end. The original fat font serif bezel insert is in great condition and is often found to be changed out for a service insert. The patina on this dial is amazing and has a creamy yellow color. The MK1 first series dial itself is in incredible condition with no chips or scratches or hash marks damaged. The 12 o’clock has a light mark in the lume, but it is not visible on the wrist only under magnified pics or a loupe.
